James T. White is a licensed counselor and a nationally trained and certified
hypnotist. His education includes a teaching certification and a Bachelor of Arts
Degree from Old Dominion University. He received his Master of Education Degree
in Counseling from The College of William and Mary in 1982.
Jim began
counseling in 1979. In 1984 he augmented his services by adding mind-body
hypnosis techniques to his counseling to offer patients comprehensive
therapeutic hypnosis services. Jim founded The Center For Mind Body Healing in
1995.
Through his counseling services Jim helps individuals, couples,
families, groups and co-workers develop solutions to improve their communication
and their relationships. His technique of combining traditional counseling with
mind-body hypnosis allows him to offer a unique and highly efficient service for
patients seeking effective mental health results. Jim's focus on mind-body
therapeutic hypnosis has helped many patients to use their powerful mind-body
connection to make positive and lasting changes in their lives. He also has
had success in assisting people in drawing upon their spirituality to resolve
real-life issues.
